The Allen Bradley’s 1492-MCGA115 is a molded case circuit breaker from the 1492 Bulletin. This module has a single power pole and is also a one phase circuit breaker with a voltage rating of 120 Volts Ac, and its AIC voltage rating is 10kA@120V. The amperage rating of this circuit breaker is 15 amps. It can use a bolt-on connection and can provide thermal protection to the peripherals devices in the industrial setting where they are used for aiding safety to the automation units/machines. The molded case circuit breakers will use a mix of different trip elements to protect against thermal overloads, short circuits, and ground faults, depending on the application and necessary protection. It can also provide a single pole non-interchangeable trip magnetic protection against various tripping events. This module can enhance the safety of the overall system and provide optimum performance while also prolonging the lifespan of compatible machine parts.
