The Allen Bradley 1492-H4 is a terminal block. This unit is included in the Bulletin 1492 series of fuse blocks. It has a single circuit design and is fusible. The terminal block includes a fuse indication. This terminal block has a voltage range between 100 Volts AC and 300 Volts AC. The maximum supported current is 15 amperes. The unit supports a fuse that measures 0.25 inches x 1.25 inches and has to be supplied by the user. The terminal block features a neon indication alerting the user about fuse usage. The leakage current rating for this module is 2 milliamperes at a voltage of 300 Volts. The module is contained in a black enclosure with a rated housing temperature ranging from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to +195 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 degrees Celsius to +90 degrees Celsius). The terminal block has a density of up to 33 pcs per foot (109 pcs per meter). The wire range, also known as the rated cross section, for the wire is specified from 30 to 12 American Wire Gauge (AWG). The terminal block supports one wire of the same size when the wire gauge is 30 to 24 AWG or 12 to 10 AWG. Two 16 and 14 AWG wires can be used, or three wires sized at 18 AWG. Using wire gauges of 22 AWG and 20 AWG allows the use of up to four wires. The strip length of the wire is 0.38 inches (9.7 millimeters) and the manufacturer recommended tightening torque is specified at 7.1 pound-inches (0.8 Newton-meters). The module can be mounted on a DIN rail or on A-B rails.
