The 1492-CM1771-LD001 is a unit that is designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley as a digital conversion system. This digital unit renders the 1771 16 point I/O devices to be 1756 through the conversion operation. This operation unfolds by not having to dispose of field wires from the starting set-up of the 1771 swing arm. The 1492 module accommodates the 1771 swing arm straight onto its edge. 1492 incorporates a connector on one of its sides while on its other side, it fits the 1756 device's removable terminal block. The 1492 cable and the conversion module aid in directing the I/O signals to the relevant 1756 device's terminals. The operating temperature of this device is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius while this module's storage temperature is at -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius.
