The 1492-CABLE050TBCH is a pre-wired digital interface cable belonging to the Bulletin 1492 line of products. The 1492-CABLE050TBCH digital interface cable, which was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation, is factory wired to the wiring arm of the input / output (I/O) interface on one end, while on the other end, it has a connector that is to be connected to an interface module. This cable is capable of reducing errors up to one hundred (100) percent. This is made possible as the problem of loose connections between the terminal block and the input / output module is eliminated. The issue of crossed wires is also solved by the application of this pre-wired digital interface cable. This results in the system experiencing great success during startup since the cable connectors are designed to fit its appropriate designation once it is plugged in without much hassle of having to fix wrong connections. 

The 1492-CABLE050TBCH interface cable has forty (40) pins, of which 4 are not connected. Therefore, the thirty-six (36) connected pin have a catalog number given as 1756-TBCH. The length of the cable is approximately 16.4 feet, or 5 meters. Each input / output point on the interface module terminal has a light emitting diode (LED) indicator that alerts the user in case an error arises with one of the points. The wire used for conduction has a size of 18 American Wire Gauge (AWG). This Allen Bradley interface cable is CE certified, UL listed, and has certification for CCC, Marine, and much more.
