The Allen-Bradley 100-K12D10 is a part of the Bulletin 100-K miniature contactors and is designed for commercial and light industrial applications where the panel space is a priority. It is designed to operate at 690 volts of alternating current with a frequency range of 50 Hertz to 60 Hertz or at 440 volts of direct current. The Power rating of the contactor ranges from 0.75 Horsepower to 7.5 Horsepower depending on the number of phases and operating voltages. It has 3 poles and optional 2 or 4 pole auxiliary contact blocks are available separately in a wide range of auxiliary contact configurations. It also includes a base mounted auxiliary contact that is normally opened or normally closed. The contactor is rated to withstand an impulse voltage of 6 kilovolts.

The 100-K Series boasts the longest life of any device in its class at 15 million operations and significantly reduces the downtime and running costs of the control system. The enclosure is IP2X-rated with a screw terminal connection. These miniature devices are 45 mm wide and shallow. They have reduced panel depth requirements than the standard International Electrotechnical Commission contactors. The compact size of the components of this device brings other benefits including a reduction in enclosure volume, a compact and modern design, and a reduction in the weight of the component. The operating temperature is between -25 degrees Celsius and 60 degrees Celsius. These devices are environmentally friendly, flexible, and versatile. The modular design of the device and an easy-to-fit 'clip-in' method add to its impressive features and benefits. The contactor is certified as per IEC/EN 60947, CE, and CCC standards.
