The 100-D100D00 contactor from the Allen-Bradley IEC 100 series of contactors, as well as being a part of the Bulletin 100-D product line. This device is classified as a non-reversing contactor. In order to switch such a large current during the motor starting sequence, this contactor prevents surges and sparks providing its long-lasting capabilities. This Allen-Bradley device has a current rating of 140 amperes. Additionally, it has output power ratings consisting of 40 horsepower (Hp) at 200 volts and 125 horsepower (Hp) at 575 volts. The Allen-Bradley 100-D140D00 contactor is equipped with three (3) poles, three (3) phases, one (1) normally open (NO) auxiliary contact, and one (1) normally closed (NC) auxiliary contact. With the 100-D100D00 contactor, there is the possibility to integrate PLC control at the input coil, meaning it is a much easier job for control interface circuits as they normally work with low voltages. An electronic coil voltage is rated at 110 to 120 volts alternating current (AC) at a frequency of 50 to 60 hertz (Hz). The operating temperature for the Allen-Bradley 100-D140D00 should remain within a range of -25 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius. The 100-D100D00 operates with a minimum conductor size of 6 AWG. However, it can also be used with 300 MCM conductor size cables. This contactor is capable of being mounted via panel mounting. Additionally, this device has physical dimensions that measure 120 millimeters x 156 millimeters x 170 millimeters, or the equivalent of 4.724 inches x 6.142 inches x 6.693 inches.
