The 100-C37*00 is an IEC contactor made by Allen-Bradley. This contactor is ideal for low-power motor control systems, with an inductive load rating of 37 amperes. The 100-C37*00 contactor has three (3) poles with no auxiliary contact. The coil is operated using a 24 volts supply and is a line side terminated.  With this contactor, a motor system can use to switch a motor on or off. The contactor has a power rating of 3 horsepower at 115 volts AC and 5 horsepower at 230 volts AC at a frequency of 60 hertz. The contacts are in a side-mounted position, and it is recommended to mount this contactor on a DIN rail in a horizontal orientation. Placing this contactor in an open area is not recommended as it does not feature protection against dust and moisture and must be kept away from such a harsh industrial environment for it to function properly. 

The contactor can control its switching with an electronic timer, or it can suppress sudden electric surges using a compatible surge suppressor accessory. Terminal kits are also compatible with this model. The contactor does not have an enclosure; hence it does not provide any kind of protection other than finger protection (IP2X) from the hazardous parts of this device. When installing or replacing this device, it is recommended to use a standard Phillips screwdriver, 12-14 AWG wires, and a 35 mm DIN rail. All the contactors are made using environmentally friendly materials to help save the environment. This contactor is according to the UL and CSA standards and is IEC certified.
