The 100-C16EJ10 is a contactor specially designed for industrial motor systems. The purpose of this contactor is to provide an electrical switching mechanism for inductive loads more specifically industrial squirrel cage motors. The device offers 3 poles with a normally open configuration, meaning it will only allow current when a signal is sent to it through a supported controller system. The maximum current rating of the 100-C16EJ10 is 16 amperes. The contacts are accessible from top and upfront and are of screw-type. The coil is placed on the line side of the contactor and has a voltage rating of 24 volts DC. The device has a power rating of 5.5 kilowatts at 230 volts and 7.5 kilowatts at 400/415 volts. It is recommended to place the contactor in a closed panel box or a 35mm DIN rail since the device has an open-type enclosure.
