The IEC Bulletin 100-C12D10 is a contactor from the 100-C series designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The contactor has an AC3 rating of 12 amperes and an AC1 rating of 32 amperes. The module is intended for controlling motor systems and various kinds of inductive loads. The three-phase power rating of the contactor is 4 kW, and at 690 volts, it's approximately 5.5 kilowatts. The device features three poles and an auxiliary contact with a normally open configuration. All the terminals are screw-type and can be accessed from the top. The coil voltage rating for this model is 110 volts at 50 Hz and 120 volts at 60 Hz. The device has an ambient operating temperature of 40 Degrees Celsius. The open-type enclosure of the 100-C12D10 requires it to be installed in a closed and protective environment. It is recommended to install the contactor in a panel box or on a DIN rail that is 35 millimeters in size. Some other supported accessories to control the contactor are automatic electronic timers to control the switching and surge suppressors for protection against electric surges.
