The 100-C09*10  is a Bulletin 100-C IEC contactor from Allen-Bradley. The contactor has an AC-3 current rating of 9 amperes and has an AC-1 rating of 32 amperes. The coil in the contactor has a rating of 120 volts at 60 hertz and its function is to close the contacts when sufficient voltage is applied across the input terminals of the contactor. The power rating of the 100-C09*10 is 3 kilowatts at 230 volts AC, 3 phase, and a maximum power rating of 4 kilowatts when the maximum input voltage of 690 volts is applied. All the contactors from the Bulletin 100 series have an open-type enclosure and are made of eco-friendly materials. The recommended ambient operating temperature for this module is 40 degrees Celsius and it should be mounted on a closed panel given its open-type enclosure. The module can also be mounted on a 35 millimeter DIN rail. Other supported accessories to increase the functionality of this device is to use a timer module with the contactor to switch open/close the contacts when required. To limit the current across the coil and to keep the system safe a Surge suppressor can also be paired with this device. Follow proper wiring instructions provided in the manual to avoid any kind of short-circuiting to keep all the equipment and the system protected. When replacing a damaged or old module make sure to cut the power, to prevent any injury. All the contactors are CE, UL, CSA, and IEC certified for maximum protection.
