The 845T-DN32BCG is an incremental optical encoder designed and distributed by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. It is part of the Bulletin 845T series of products that consist of size 20 incremental encoders. An incremental encoder's primary application converts rotational movement or placement of a shaft into an analog or digital code that can recognize position or direction. One of the most common types of rotary encoders is the incremental encoder. In addition, the Allen Bradley incremental optical encoders focus on providing high-resolution feedback. This unit has an enclosure with a rating of NEMA Type 4, along with an Ingress Protection rating of IP66. This product has a frequency response range of 100 kilohertz. Additionally, this device has a resolution rated at 100 PPR, or pulses per revolution.
