The 802T-AP is an oil-tight limit switch device that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The device is a heavy-duty switching device that is specially designed for motion control, automation, automated machine movement control, and other industrial applications. This device can work in harsh environmental conditions. The most important features of this device are the use of separate wiring which can be connected to the wiring from the nearest industrial controller. This device base is designed for quick & easy change when a mechanical or electrical fault occurs at the time of switching without complete disconnection of electrical circuits. The 802T-AP is a user-friendly device since unplugging the damaged switch can be done in a few seconds. The 802T-AP oil-tight limit switch device has an environmental protection rating of IP67, which indicates that it can withstand heavily polluted conditions, particularly in industrial atmospheres because other devices cannot protect against such high levels of humidity, condensation, and/or significant quantities of water. This oil tight limit switch device can be easily configurable because of the direction/orientation of this device for the activation when the switch is to be used. The users have the option to operate in all directions like clockwise, counterclockwise, or both directions. This device can be mounted on either side (rear or front side of the device) with the help of 10 screws for all configurations. This device wiring should be done carefully to avoid letting water in the switch or the mounting base.
