The 800H-FPXAP is an Allen Bradley Bulletin 800H Type 7 and 9 operator. These Bulletin 800H operators are designed to meet the National Electrical Code and properly mountable on Type 7 and Type 9 enclosures which are usually where hazardous devices or environments are located. These components are made of copper free die casted aluminum brushings and mounted rings. The shafts are a type #316 stainless steel with O-ring seal added for corrosion resistance. These components mount on a hole (threaded) in a suitable enclosure. The Bulletin 800H Type 7 and 9 have two (2) basic formats of standard barrel and long barrel. This component is from the standard barrel format, and this means that the device can be mounted on panels with thickness up to one inch. This format provides a lock system that prevents the mounting from becoming loose and falling. This 800H-FPXAP is a Push Pull Unit that has a standard barrel. The head on this push pull unit is a mushroom type. Mushroom head units are usually an ideal component for harsh environments as they are distinctively larger and accidental pressing or operating can be avoided. The mushroom head cap has no color, and it also has no contacts. The Push Pull button is either normally open, where the circuit breaks and the path is opened (the pull or OUT state), or normally closed, where the circuit is complete and the path is closed (the push or IN state). There are no guards on this device.
