The operating temperature range of this device is -25 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius.

Part number 509-TOD is a full voltage starter that comes with the flexibility to either order the whole modular kit for its assembly or order it as individual components. A modular kit assembly consists of a base contactor, selectable overload relay, coil voltage, and other selectable options. This full voltage starter’s base contactor comes with a selectable coil supplied by a 120 volts AC supply. This starter is compatible to run both single-phase and 3-phase applications. A eutectic alloy overload relay in the starter requires 3 heater elements. It has 3 power poles, and it is energized either by a voltage of 110 volts AC supply operating at 50 hertz, or by a voltage supply of 120 volts operating at 60 hertz. This starter has different power ratings with single-phase and 3-phase at different voltages. 

Allen-Bradley’s 509-TOD full voltage starter has numerous technical specifications associated with it. The maximum horsepower ratings for single-phase motor voltages are 0.33 horsepower at 115 volts and 1 horsepower at 230 volts. The maximum horsepower ratings for 3-phase motor voltages are 1.5 Hp at 200 volts, 1.5 Hp at 230 volts, 2 Hp at 460 volts, and 2 Hp at 575 volts. The maximum current rating of this device is 9 amperes, and the service limit current rating is 11 amperes. This product has a mechanical life rating of ten million (10,000,000) operations. The Allen-Bradley 509-TOD is equipped with pressure terminals. The wire size rating of this device is 10 AWG. The rated power dissipation for this full voltage starter is 2.7 watts. The operating temperature range of the Allen-Bradley 509-TOD is -25 °C to 55 °C.
