The Allen-Bradley designed and manufactured 509-COD-XXX is a NEMA full voltage non-reversing starter with a size of two (2). This starter has three (3) poles and a voltage rating of 115 to 120 volts alternating current (AC) with a sixty (60) hertz coil. It offers open-type functionality with provision for attaching an overload relay. The 509-COD-XXX starting device has the capability to be mounted via a panel or a DIN rail.

The 509-COD-XXX, manufactured by Allen Bradley, is a starter that is a NEMA full voltage non-reversing module. Bulletin 509 series were used to create this starter, which is not reversible. It is a NEMA full voltage size two (2) starter that does not work in conjunction with a NEMA contactor or an electronic overload relay. It also has an optional communication module to communicate with the starter. Using a Bulletin 505V, these 509-COD-XXX product series are vertically organized and are available in sizes ranging from zero (0) to five (5).
