The 5069-L306ER is a CPU for the CompactLogix 5380 programmable logic controllers. Its purpose is to continuously monitor the state of input devices and make decisions based upon a custom program to control the state of output devices. The 5069-L306ER can be remotely accessed by users through its 12 Mbps communication port which has a USB 2.0, Type B configuration. The Allen-Bradley 5069-L306ER is a central processing unit that has a user memory of 0.6 MB. The controller can be programmed using Sequential Function Chart, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text, and Ladder Diagram. The 5069-L306ER has 16 EtherNet/IP nodes maximum and an EtherNet performance of 10/100 Mbps/1Gbps. This CompactLogix controller can support a maximum of eight local I/O modules. The CPU module can be powered using the MOD power method which has a voltage range of 18 to 32 VDC. The module's available voltage range is from 0 to 32 VDC, and 0 to 240 Volts AC at 47 to 60 Hz when using the SA power option. The Allen-Bradley 5069-L306ER offers pulse latching and pattern matching support as well. The module has a power dissipation of 8.5 W and thermal dissipation of 29 BTU/hr.
