It comes with delayed outputs with a delay range of 0.5 seconds to 30 minutes.

The Allen-Bradley 440R-M23227 is a monitoring safety relay with delayed outputs. It is commonly used with the relay model MSR178DP. The safety relay has light curtain inputs and safety outputs. The relay is equipped with three (3) normally open (N.O) safety outputs and two (2) normally closed (N.C) auxiliary outputs. It does not incorporate any immediate safety outputs or immediate auxiliary outputs. The safety relay has a rated DC voltage of 24 volts DC, an AC voltage of 24 and 115 to 230 volts AC at an operating frequency of 50 to 60 hertz. A 1606 power supply is required for converting from the AC supply to DC supply. The relay module’s timing delay range is from 0.5 seconds to 30 minutes, and it can be set to the desired value by using a design combination of jumper wires and an analog potentiometer.
The 440R-M23227 relay is compact in size with a 35 mm (1.38 inches) wide outer case, and two rows of terminals each at the top and the bottom. It has a net weight of approximately 0.16 kg (0.35 lb). The safety relay is equipped with an automatic/manual reset option and screw type removable terminals. Additional features of the 440R-M23227 safety relay are multiple input/output configurations, the presence of larger number of outputs while maintaining the integrity of the base unit, and provision of expansion modules customized with timing functions for use with MSR and Guardmaster safety relays. The safety relay is also cULus, c-Tick, and CE certified for use in all application directives.
