This is the Allen-Bradley Guardmaster 440K-MT55029 interlock switch. It is part of the MT-GD2 series of snap-acting tongue interlock switches. This component has two normally closed direct opening action safety contacts. The switch is rated for up to 10 amperes of thermal current. It has a standard type model with a conduit entry with a half-inch NPT conduit and has a fully-flex type actuator. This model is rated for one million operations at 1 milliampere at 24 volts DC and half a million operations at 2 amperes with an FF-type fuse with an inductive or resistive load. It is designed to operate at up to 600 cycles per hour. This unit features two normally open auxiliary contacts as well. The switch has an insulation voltage rating of 2500 volts and can withstand an impulse of 2500 volts. The integrated fuse is a 2-ampere FF type super quick blow fuse. The switch is built to meet IP67 standards for protection against environmental contaminants. The normal operating temperature range is between -4 degrees to +176 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 degrees to +80 degrees Celsius). The unit has a mechanical life of up to one million operations. This interlock switch is not intended to be used as a mechanical stop and requires guard stops and guides to be mounted. Maintenance of this switch requires rechecking the actuator alignment weekly and a thorough inspection every six months. This switch has approximate dimensions of 1.6 x 4.59 x 1.5 inches (40.7 x 116.5 x 38 millimeters).
