The 2364-SPB02A is a DC bus suppressor module. This device belongs in the Bulletin 2364 series of products. This module was designed and produced by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This DC bus suppressor is designed to be compatible with the regenerative DC bus supply unit (RGU), implying its high level of compatibility and integrity. The input power requirements for the operation of this product are 380 volts to 460/575 volts AC. Additionally, this DC bus suppressor supports Lexan shields that protect personnel from debris and other harmful substances during the process of testing and evaluation. The standard operating temperature for this product is 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Likewise, the expected storage temperature for this product is 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. This bus suppressor is sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Users must ensure the power is turned down and that a minimum of five (5) minutes have passed for the voltage to drop completely before replacing this unit. After that, the users can remove the Lexan shields from the new bus suppressor (the replacement to the removal). Similarly, it is a best safety practice that the users must first disconnect the PE leads from the new DC suppressor. After that, the operators can mount a DC suppressor on the panel. Also, the operator must ensure that the bus leads and PE ground lead are connected. Finally, the Lexan shield should be secured to this bus suppressor. These best practices are necessary to operate this ESD-sensitive bus suppressor and keep productivity.
