The 2198-H2DCK from Allen Bradley's developed Kinetix 5500 series converts data from a high-speed interface to a low-speed interface. This product is a Hiperface to DSL feedback converter package (series B or later) that can be used with MP-Series rotary motors, such as Bulletin MPL, MPM, and MFP. This product can even be used with Bulletin MAS ball screw, MPAR, and MAI linear actuators, as well as LDAT-Series linear thrusters. In most cases, Kinetix 5500 systems come in single-phase and three-phase standalone versions. They can also be used in three-phase shared AC/DC, shared DC, and hybrid shared AC/DC/DC configurations. All of the converter drives and inverter drives must have the same rated power. The module's feedback is connected to the outside world through the two-pin motor feedback connection. Hardwired connections may be made to the 2198-H2DCK's Kinetix 5500 servo drives to link them to the EtherNet/IP network.
