The Allen-Bradley 2198-H015-ERS2 is a Kinetix 5500 Ethernet I/P output servo drive. This drive features a dual integrated Ethernet I/P communication port which enable this drive to connect to an existing Ethernet network for the purposes of implementing integration and integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) functionality. It operates with both single-phase and three-phase configurations with an AC input supply range of 195-528V. This provides a continuous output current (rms) of 7.1A and a peak output current of 12.5A.

The Allen-Bradley 2198-H015-ERS is a highly compact servo drive that belongs to Rockwell Automation’s Series of Kinetix 5500 Servo Drives. Servo motor drives are electronic amplifier devices that are designed to serve the needs of industrial applications. A servo motor drive helps to monitor the feedback signal and adjusts several parameters in the automation system to control the deviation in a system. The device amplifies input signals from a control system and transmits the electric current to a servo motor to generate a motion that is proportional to the commanded signal.
