Allen-Bradley manufactured the 193-EA4EB Solid State (SMP-1) Electronics Motor Protection Overloading Relay. It belongs to the Bulletin 193 IEC series of products and the E100 unit is the next generation product of this particular unit. There is no longer a supply of these Bulletin 193 IEC series products and 592 NEMA E1 plus electric overloading relays currently offered from the manufacturer's end. The E100 sequence electric overload relays are recommended for customers to improve them to make the switch over easier for themselves and for them.
The next step in induction motor active safety systems is represented by the E100, a simple electric overload mechanism. This new overloaded system will give a plethora of dependable and sturdy features that will preserve your motor investments while being cost-effective in its operation.
There is also a Solid State Motor Protection Overload Relay that is part of MCS-E, a self-powered solid-state overload relay that delivers superior motor protection as compared to typical bimetallic overload relays. The MCS-E1 provides motor overload protection with a trip class of ten (10) or twenty (20). It offers greater protection against motor damage when employed in phase loss circumstances. The MCS-E1 additionally has a manually controlled trip function, a visible trip indicator, and separated N.O. (normally open) alarm connections as standard. The MCS-E2 overload relay supplements the MCS-E1 overload relay's overload protection. The MCS-E2 has configurable ground fault tripping, jam/stall prevention, and trip classes. There is a wide variety of accessories available, including anti-tamper shields and panel mounting adapters.
