The Allen Bradley 160-C30 is a Bulletin 160, series A communications cable with a length of 3 meters, or the equivalent of 9.8 feet. This cable has a black cladding with straight, locking type connectors at both ends. It is designed as an optional module of the Bulletin 160 SSC and connects the remote or copycat keypad module to the remote programming adapter. The cable is UL and CE certified and weighs approximately 0.14 kilograms (0.3 pounds).

Part number 160-C30, which was produced by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation, is a Series A drive communications cable designed for use with Allen Bradley Bulletin 160 SSC variable speed drives and PowerFlex 525 AC drives. The 160-C30 drive communication cable has a length of 3 meters, or the equivalent of 9.8 feet. Other sizes of the cable include 1- and 5-meter lengths. The 160-C30 is designed with locking at each end. The communication cable has a black exterior with straight connectors at both ends. Locking instructions for the 160-C30 drive cable include a clicking sound on insertion/locking and rotation of the connector to unlock.

The cable belongs to Bulletin 160 series of SSC optional modules and cables. It connects the remote programming adapter (160-RPA) to either the remote keypad module (160-P2) or the copycat keypad module (160-P3). The remote programming adapter provides a simple interface connection for the remote and CopyCat Keypad Modules.

When the cable is being connected via a conduit, the metal contact point of entry connections must be free of materials, such as paint or non-conductive surfaces, and the contacts must solidly connect with good conductivity to the enclosure. The cable has been designed for indoor use with Allen Bradley products. Caution during installation and operation is required so that the cable is not bent along acute angles to prevent damage. The 160-C30 cable is UL listed and CE certified for all applicable directives. The 160-C30 drive cable has an approximate shipping weight of 0.14 kilograms, or 0.3 pounds.
