The 154-A11NB is an industrial controller that is developed for low horsepower 3 phase motors and one phase squirrel cage induction motors. This is a starting torque controller (STC) by Allen-Bradley that is intended for protecting the starting torque surge that is developed during normal across the line starting process. The starting torque controller offers smooth starting and reduces the downtime caused by vibration and shock related issues. This industrial STC controller is an efficient control device with a compact design that makes it easy to install and easy to retrofit. This starting torque control system features digital rotary switches that allow the users to set up the initial ramp and torque time of the controller.

This compact and smart 154-A11NB control device comes with a feed-through wiring that enables a quick and simple installation process. The users must adjust the digital rotary switches for setting this controller. The initial torque value should be set between 10% and 80% of the locked rotor torque values. The voltage ramp time can be adjusted within a range of 0.1 to 4.5 seconds duration. The 154-A11NB STC device can be used in many applications by using this flexible combination. This is the best replacement for resistor ballast starters, clutches, flywheels, line reactors, wye delta starters, and fluid couplings. This industrial STC controller can be used in various applications like trolleys, cranes, monorails, conveyor belts, material handling apparatus, shrink wrap devices, bridge cranes, lifts, pumps, fans, mixers, grinders, and elevators. It is a CE, UL, and CSA certified smart controller.
