The controller consists of an LCD display, an input keypad, an electronic overload protection, integrated bypass, a control module that is dismountable, a power module, and a fan. This SCM Flex controller is constructed to run three-phase motors, either delta or line connected, ranging 200 to 575 volts AC. When the controller is used with line connected motors, it has a rated power of 250 kilowatts, and when used with delta connected motors, it possesses a power of 450 kilowatts.
It has a current rating of 361 amperes and a power output of 300 horsepower when used at 460 volts AC. The control voltage is 24 volts AC/DC and, for this reason, a separate single power supply of 120 volts or 240 volts is needed to operate the fan assembly. The unit does not feature pump and braking control options. There are two (2) DPI connection ports available on the controller. One of them is to be used for optional human interface and the other is for communication modules. The controller has four (4) fully programmable contacts, and seven (7) pre-installed start and stop modes, which include soft start, current limit start, dual ramp, full voltage, linear speed acceleration, present slow speed, and soft stop. The physical dimensions of this device measure 600 mm x 290 mm x 276.5 mm (23.62 inches x 11.42 inches x 10.89 inches).
