Part number 150-C43NBR SMC is an Allen-Bradley smart motor controller and it belongs to the 150 SMC-3 line of products. It is designed for enhancing motor operations in industrial facilities. It features an inline input voltage of 200-460 volts alternating current (AC). At 50-60 hertz, it provides a 43 ampere input current. This device can generate up to 1000 V/µs of DV/DT protection. With the impulse voltage being 6 kilovolts, and it having a reverse voltage of 1400V, this smart controller can produce 600 volts alternating current of insulation voltage, and 2200 volts alternating current of dielectric withstand. The Allen-Bradley 150-C43NBR SMC can render internal circuit protection using the 150 ampere non-time-delay K5 fuse with a 10 kilo ampere fault limit. The built-in standard magnetic circuit breaker comes with a 10 kilo ampere standard fault time.

As far as operational control voltage is concerned, the Allen-Bradley 150-C43NBR SMC supports 24 volts AC/DC. This device features a 2500 volt impulse voltage and a 250 volt insulation voltage. The auxiliary input (250 volts AC / 30 volts AC) on the Allen-Bradley 150-C43NBR SMC has 250 volts of insulation and 2.5 kilovolts of impulse voltage. The 150-C43NBR SMC also comes with an internal electromagnetic control circuit with 1 ampere, 240 volts alternating current relay contacts. The basic operation mode on this smart controller is soft start which boosts the initial torque of the motors to full capacity. It features a start time that can be adjusted from 2-32 seconds. Thanks to the 450% boost, the Allen-Bradley 150-C43NBR SMC can boost the motor to full capacity between 0.5-1.5 seconds.
