The 150 SMC PLUS smart motor solid state controller is rated at 54 Amperes at standard duty for the range of 1 to 40 horsepower at 480 Volts and 45 Amperes at heavy duty for 1 to 30 horsepower at 480 Volts. It has an open-type enclosure and the input line is 200 to 480 Volts, three phase, with frequency 50 and 60 Hertz. The motor can be in delta or star method of connections and SCRs are between windings and supply. The rated insulation voltage per IEC is 500 Volts and impulse voltage rating is 4000 Volts with a dielectric withstand of 2500 Volts. The UL, CSA, and NEMA rating for dielectric withstand is 2200 Volts of alternating current. The repetitive peak inverse voltage rating for the controller is 1400 Volts for the range of 200 to 480 Volts of alternating current per UL/CSA/NEMA and 200 to 415 Volts of alternating current per IEC. The range increases to 200 to 600 Volts of alternating current for 1600 Volts per UL/CSA/NEMA and to 200 to 500 Volts per IEC. The operating frequency is 50/60 Hertz. It is an open device (IP 00) with no protection against electrical shock. The heat dissipation at 54 Amperes is 200 Watts. The module has voltage metering accuracy of ±2%, for current it is ±5%, power ±10%, and displacement power factor is metered to the accuracy of ±3%. The unit has an operating range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius in open and 0 to 40 degrees Celsius in a closed enclosure.
