Product number 150-A180NBD is an SMC Dialog Plus controller that was designed and produced by Allen Bradley. This unit belongs to the Bulletin 150 series of products and is used to provide various motor starting modes and other beneficial features. This unit is for applications with squirrel cage motors with a current rating 1 to 1000 amperes and a three-phase input voltage of 200 to 600 volts AC. The controller has the following starting modes: soft start, selectable kickstart, current limit start, dual ramp start, and full voltage start. Operating these modes on the controller gives the user the chance to provide different percent voltage in the time of start and after. 

There is another controller feature, Energy Saver, which is commonly used to control power losses when motor is operating in light load or unloaded for extended periods of time. It has an integrated overload protection against overheating from excessive overcurrent. Additionally, this controller has underload protection capable to obtain trip setting or 0 to 99 percent of the motor full load current and delay time of 0 to 99 seconds. This Allen Bradley controller is equipped with a SCANport communication interface, which allows connection with a 1201 HIM module or other 1203 communication modules. The device has an informative LCD (liquid crystal display) that can display 2 lines of 16 characters. It has a 5-button keypad used for programming. There are three (3) auxiliary contacts, in which two (2) are for normal/up-to-speed programming and one (1) for normal/fault.
