The Allen-Bradley 1494R-N100 is a Flangeless Disconnect Switch. This switch is conceived for door mounting. This device supports a voltage of either 125 Volts DC or 600 Volts AC at a frequency range from 50 to 60 Hertz. The unit also supports a current of 100 Amperes. The 1494R-N100 operates with three phases. This disconnect switch can close and open the electrical circuit by employing a rotary operating handle. This handle is connected to a rod and a hitch pin to allow the switch to stay inside a safety enclosure and be energized from the outside without the need of opening the door. This non-fused disconnect switch has three (3) poles. The body of this switch is conceived with glass-filled thermoset plastic material.

The 1494R-N100 disconnect switch has an open enclosure with a handling assembly and activating rod. The disconnect switch supports a non-condensing relative humidity range from 5% to 95%. The 1494R-N100 disconnect switch can be stored in a safe environment that shouldn’t be full of condensation or corrosion at a temperature from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit). This disconnect switch device offers a dielectric strength of 2200 Volts within one minute. The 1494R-N100 disconnect switch can be employed in a dangerous and hazardous industrial environment. The disconnect switch can operate at a temperature range of zero (0) to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for applications and weighs approximately 3.29 Kilograms (7.25 pounds) while shipping.
