The 140M-I8P-C30S-M is a circuit breaker by Allen-Bradley. This molded case circuit breaker is included in the 140M series. This type of circuit breaker is an assembled unit that is contained inside an insulating material. The molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) combines the short circuit isolation function of miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) and the overcurrent protection functionality of a traditional overload relay. This unit is powered by a 3-phase power supply. It has a current rating of 30 Amperes and requires 600 Volts AC for operation. The 140M-I8P-C30S-M comes with 3 poles. This circuit breaker features instantaneous protection with load side as well as line side lug terminals. The 140M-I8P-C30S-M offers high current limiting features as well as visible trip indication. Automatic overcurrent protection is provided for connected equipment. This device fully complies with CSA and UL standards. It is designed to be fully compatible with NEMA contactors as well as IEC contactors and overload relays. This molded case circuit breaker has a fixed magnetic trip with a current range between 90 Amperes and 300 Amperes. It is designed with a tripping function to protect the system in case of temperatures exceeding safe limits. The normal operating frequency range is between 50 Hertz and 60 Hertz. The supported temperature range is between -25 degrees Celsius and 70 degrees Celsius (-13 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit). This circuit breaker is rated for operation without de-rating at altitudes below 2000 meters.
