This Allen-Bradley module, also known to be the 140G-H-FCX04, is a national electrical manufacturers association-style flange-mounted cable operator. Accessing the panel board or enclosure is not an essential aspect in order to work with a 140G series circuit breaker or the disconnecting part fitted within this cable operator. An operator may put a flexible cable-operated molded case circuit breaker closer to the incoming feeder wires when they use a flexible cable-operated molded case circuit breaker. When employing classic flange-mounted operators, it is important to route the main feeder wires across the panel to the line side of the molded case circuit breaker in many industrial control panels where incoming power is on the hinged side of the panel. This flexible cable operator may also be utilized in combination with bus-bar mounting solutions installed within an industrial control panel. When a molded case circuit breaker is used as the primary disconnect or feeder protector on a bus-bar system, the feeder breaker is not limited to the region behind the flange. Users must be certain that the breaker is turned off before installing the Allen-Bradley 140G-H-FCX04 flange-mounted cable operator. The actuator must be installed on top of the breaker, with the breaker level properly connected to it. Moving on, the user must install the operating handle in the enclosure door and link it to the actuator that is already installed on top of the breaker using the remote operation connection. Users will be able to control the breaker without having to open the panel board door if the gadget is correctly fitted.
