The Allen Bradley 140-CMN-6300 motor protection circuit breaker was created specifically for motor isolation and branch circuit protection. The thermal release current range of the breaker is forty (40) to sixty-three (63) amperes, and the magnetic release rating is eight hundred and eighty-two (882) amperes. Furthermore, this circuit breaker has a maximum magnetic release current of eight hundred and ninety (890) amperes and a rated operational current of sixty-three (63) amperes. This Allen Bradley module is also inclusive of an external rotary screw-type potentiometer for setting or adjusting the thermal release of trip current to set the breaker's overload trigger. The operator is not permitted to adjust the magnetic trip mechanism of this circuit breaker. This mechanism is set to 14 times the maximum value of the setting range. The mechanical construction of this module circuit breaker has a life span of thirty thousand (30,000) operations, the electrical elements have a life span of three thousand (3,000) operations, and the switching frequency has a life span of twenty (20) operations per hour. At the rated operating temperature, this module has a power loss of thirty-three (33) watts. The recommended storage temperature range for this circuit breaker is -25 to 80 degrees Celsius, and the recommended operating temperature range is -25 to 60 degrees Celsius. From the front, the motor protection breaker has an IP2X rating with a minimum wire size of thirty-five (35) millimeters. This Allen Bradley circuit breaker has an approximate weight of 1845 grams, or the equivalent of 1.86 pounds.
