This 1783-BMS20CGN is an industrial-grade managed Ethernet switch and it is manufactured by Allen Bradley. This switch is part of the Allen-Bradley Stratix 5700 series of industrial switches. This switch is available with 20 network ports available. When mounting the 1783-BMS20CGN, operators should ensure that a clearance of 2 inches is left on all sides of the switch to aid proper airflow around the device to avoid overheating. For better performance of the switch, the air temperature around the switch should not exceed 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). The length of cables should not exceed 100 meters for 10/100 and 10/100/1000 ports.
