Product number 1770-KFDG is a DeviceNet RS-232 interface module. This module is a part of the Bulletin 1770 series of products. Additionally, this device has designed and manufactured by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. The primary purpose of this interface module is to monitor and configure devices on the DeviceNet network. This module is capable of being operated in any environment as long as it is connected to a personal computer, or PC. Additionally, this DeviceNet RS-232 interface module is equipped with one (1) 9-pin RS-232 D-shell port which is used for communication purposes. The AC wall of this interface module has a power requirement of nine (9) volts at one (1) ampere. Additionally, the DeviceNet connector of this module has a power requirement of 11 to 25 volts at 700 milliamperes to 300 milliamperes. The RS-232 selectable communication rates of this device include 1200 baud, 2400 baud, 4800 baud, 9600 baud, 19,200 baud, 38,400 baud, and 57,600 baud. The DeviceNet selectable communication rates of this device include 125K baud, 250K baud, and 500K baud.
