Part number MPM-B1304E-SJ72AA is a medium inertia servo motor by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. It is a brushless and alternating current (AC) synchronous servo motor. It offers the features of an MP-Series servo motor along with the enhanced rotor inertia to accommodate greater inertial loads.

This motor can run at 2250 revolutions per minute (rpm) at rated full load and voltage. It can achieve a maximum speed of 4000 rpm. At the rated speed of 3500 rpm, the motor output is 2.20 kilowatts. This servo motor can produce 10.2 Newton-meters of torque continuously. It can produce up to 27.1 Newton-meters of torque for a very short period. This motor's shaft can bear the maximum radial load of 67 kilograms and axial load of 15 kilograms at 3000 rpm. It weighs around 9.60 kilograms. It has a standard IEC 72-1 mounting dimension.  

This motor has an operational voltage rating of 400 volts alternating current. The frame size, or circle bolt diameter, of this servo motor measures 130 millimeters. This motor incorporates 4 stacks of rare-earth permanent magnets. This motor also incorporates a high-resolution feedback system for the accurate positioning of the rotor. A single-turn encoder is used in this motor to provide displacement feedback signals within 1 turn. This motor has an internal protection rating of IP65 and IP67 to provide protection against environmental factors. It comes with a shaft key that provides a rigid mechanical connection. It has circular connectors for feedback and power connections. The connector housing can be rotated up to 180 degrees.
