The MPL-B430P-MJ74AA is a low inertia brushless servo motor with a high output that belongs to the MP series by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. It has a small size and high value of torque that has been achieved by using innovative design techniques. It is a compact and dynamic brushless servo motor that can meet the requirements of high-performance motion systems. It is used with Allen-Bradley Kinetix 6000, 6200, 6500, 300, and 350 servo drive series’. A multi-turn high-resolution encoder for feedback enables 2 million counts per revolution for accurate control. The MPL-B430P-MJ74AA servo motor features a key shaft extension with a circular DIN connector that is capable of 180 degrees rotation at right angles and 24 Volts DC brake.

The low inertia servo motor belongs to the 400-voltage class with a frame size of 115 millimeters and 4.53 inches. It has a stack length of 76.2 millimeters with 5000 RPM and a 2.2 Kilowatt power rating. It has a continuous stall torque of 8.25 Newton-meters and a peak stall torque of 20.3 Newton-meters with a continuous stall current of 7 Amperes and 21 Ampere peak stall current. It has up to 40% higher torque per unit size due to its advanced winding technology. The MPL-B430P-MJ74AA servo motor has a high level of performance due to improved winding insulation material that enables enhanced thermal management and easy heat transfer. The servo motor has fast acceleration that has been achieved by using high-energy, rare earth magnets. It also has new speed TEC DIN connectors that allow for the flexible orientation of the connectors.
