The MPL-B420P-HJ24AA servo motor from Allen-Bradley is a 400-volt AC brushless servo motor with a holding brake designed to meet the demanding demands of a commercial motion controlling system. This small, high-output servo motor from Allen-Bradley's MP low-inertia servo motor series has much greater torque performance than traditional servo motors, making it appropriate for automotive, packing, conversion, metal shaping, handling of materials, and electronics assembly. This MPL-B420P-HJ24AA servo motor includes a base motor speed of 5000 rpm and a peak torque of 120 pounds per inch. This motor has a 460-volt alternating current (AC) rating and a maximum operating current flow of 22.0 amperes.

The MPL-B420P-HJ24AA servo motor has a spring-set 24 volts DC holding brake and an onboard greater-performance 2000-line encoding updated control module. All MP range servo motors feature smart motor technologies, which feature an internal memory that retains the motor profiles, as well as the ability to link the motor configuration to motion systems immediately upon startup. The MPL-B420P-HJ24AA servo motor has a 115-millimeter frame size, a magnetic stack length of 2 inches, a horizontal kind of shaft with a shaft key, and an IP 51 approved industrial enclosure.
