The MPL-A4530K-HJ24AA by Allen-Bradley is an MP series, low inertia, brushless servo motor with a 130 mm frame and a feedback device. It is designed to fulfill the stringent requirements of high-performance motion systems. The motor is equipped with a rare earth magnet rotor, which allows it to have quick acceleration giving it a unique advantage over conventional motors. It has a rated motor speed of 4000 rpm, rated voltage of 200 VAC and rated peak torque and stall torque 20.3 Nm (180 lb-in) and 8.13 Nm (72 lb-in) respectively at 2.5 kW rated output. Its continuous stall current rating and peak stall current ratings are 19.5 and 62.0 Amps (0-peak) respectively. The motor has the additional feature of an onboard motor memory that can retain its speed profile and transfer it to the system upon startup leading to a considerabe reduction in commissioning time. The MPL-A4530K-HJ24AA servo motor is commonly compatible and used with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 6000, /6200/6500/300/350 servo drive families.

The MPL-A4530K-HJ24AA servo motor is designed with a 2000-line incremental feedback encoder which enables precise and reliable speed control. It is also fitted with a 24 V DC spring-set holding brake whose function is to hold the servo motor in case it stalls. The motor has improved winding insulation which allows better heat transfer and improves motor performance. The 180° rotatable motor has a standard magnet stack length of 3 inches and a fixed circular type DIN connector. It is packaged in an aluminum (Al) metal enclosure with an environmental rating of IP 51, and a carbon steel key shaft. The motor has an operational temperature limit of 0 to 40 °C, and a relative humidity limit of 5 to 95% non-condensing. It has a mounting weight of approximately 9.8 kg (including brake), and is CE, UL, and CSA certified.
