The Allen-Bradley MP series low inertia servo motor MPL-A430H-HK22AA has a voltage class rating of 200 Volts and a frame size of 115 millimeters with a magnetic stack of 3 inches. The speed rating of the motor is 3500 rpm and it has a 2000 line encoder. The servo motor has no break, shaft key, or shaft seal. The connectors are circular bayonet style with facing shaft. The servo motor has an operating temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) and storage can be over a more tolerant range of -30 to 70 degrees Celsius with relative humidity of 5 to 95% (without any condensation and noncorrosive atmosphere). The servo motor power output is rated at 1.8 Kilowatts and rotor inertia is 0.00038 kg-sq. (0.0033 lb.-in-sq.'s). The continuous stall torque is 6.21 Nm (55 lb.-in) and peak stall torque is 19.8 Nm (175 lb.-in); the corresponding continuous stall current is 12.2 Amperes and peak stall current is 45 Amperes (0 to peak). The motors have on-board memory that saves motor identity. The communication channel provides this identity to the system at startup to streamline the commissioning process. The low inertia servo motors are specifically useful in the food and beverage packaging and handling industry. The speedTEC DIN connectors facilitate flexibility in orientation of the motor and also standardizes the type of cable across the application. The connectors have a quick, 90 degree turn connection which is simple and assured.
