2711PC-K4M20D8 is a control and visualization solution for medium-sized systems. It does not permit modular components and has a static configuration. It has a backlit (solid-state, White LED) grayscale LCD (320 by 240 resolution) with TFT cell technology and dimensions (in inches) of 3.5 diagonal, 2.8 widths, and 2.3 height. The display has a brightness of 320 Nits. For user input, it has a keypad with a Stainless-steel membrane. It has 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of non-volatile memory, and 73 MB of user memory. It has external storage solutions including a USB drive and an SD card, which are supported by a USB host port ( hot-swappable) and an SD card slot (hot-swappable), respectively. 
For internet connectivity/ communication, it has an Ethernet port that contains an RJ45, 10/100Base-T connector. It also enables MDI/MDI-X connections. It features a yellow and a green indicator indicating connection integrity and activity on the ethernet link, respectively. It contains one Rs-232 port that provides DF1 interface for following controllers connectivity; SLC 5/03, 04, 05, PLC-5, 5C, 5E, MicroLogix 1000 - 1200, 1400, 1500 LRP & LSP, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and DH-485 protocol for for following controllers connectivity; SLC 500, 5/01, 02, 03, 04, 05, MicroLogix 1000 - 1400, 1500 LRP, 1500 LSP and CompactLogix. It contains a USB host port for physical keyboards, human interface devices with native drivers, external storage USB drives, compatible printers, scanners, computers, and bar code readers. It spotlights one USB Device Port that can connect to a host computer running the USB remote (Remote Network Driver Interface Specification) device driver.
It has a DC input voltage (direct current ) of 18...30 Volts (24V nominal).  It has a max and normal energy usage of 15Watts and 9Watts, resp. It demands the use of an electrical supply classified as SELV (safety extra-low voltage) or PELV (protected extra-low voltage).
