The Allen-Bradley PanelView 6 Plus 2711P-T6C20A9 is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) or operator interface panel which lets a qualified technician control and configure the connected machine or machines. This human interface terminal demands a power supply of 120 Volts to 240 Volts Alternating Current, and it includes a 5.7-inch full color display screen with a touchscreen for entering user information, configuration parameters, and other data. The built-in, internal backlight is not user-serviceable and cannot be replaced. As with other PanelView plus terminals, this connection will necessitate the purchase of a compatible communication cable (Part Number 2711-NC13).

This Allen-Bradley PanelView 6 Plus 2711P-T6C20A9 operator interface terminal has 256 Megabytes of volatile internal Random Access Memory (RAM). This unit is capable of making use of the Ethernet Industrial Protocol (EtherNet/IP) for network communications. EtherNet/IP is an open industrial network protocol with support for real-time Input/Output messaging or as a communications exchange. The device Ethernet port can connect with a controller on a compatible EtherNet/IP network using the network and standard Ethernet connections. This network port can be used for printing, application and data transfer, and inter-device communications. The EtherNet/IP screen will display network communication parameters and enable the qualified user to update and configure the relevant communication settings on their PanelView terminal.
