The Allen Bradley 2711P-RN22C is a communication module. This isolated communication module comes with a RS-232 communication port. It is especially designed to be used with operator terminals from the PanelView Plus 600 and PanelView Plus 400 series of operator terminals. This communication module comes with support for both DH-485 and DF1 protocol. This communication module should only be plugged in after the power to the terminal base has been cut off.

The Allen Bradley 2711P-RN22C is an easy-to-install communication module. It has a shipping weight of only 2 pounds. The shipping dimension of this module is 8 inches x 8inches x 5 inches. It belongs to the PanelView Plus line of communication modules from Allen Bradley. The 2711P-RN22C module is meant to be used with operator terminals from the PanelView Plus 600 and PanelView Plus 400 lines of products. This terminal comes with a base configurable unit, a communication port, an AC/DC power supply, and a full color display. This communication module can help program the RS-232 protocol to connected terminals. It can also help replace existing protocols with new ones are necessary. The RS-232 port can be installed on the rear side of this module. 

The Allen Bradley 2711P-RN22C can be used to connect network interface modules and PLCs. It can be used to establish connection between controllers from the SLC 500 series, such as the 5/03, 5/05, and 5/04 controllers to the DH-485 protocol. The Allen Bradley 2711P-RN22C can only be connected after the power to the base terminal has been disconnected. The connector on this communication module should be aligned with that of the PanelView Plus base unit. Tighten the screws to firmly place this terminal in place. This device has an operational temperature range of 0 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius. the non-operational temperature range of this device is -25 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity rating of this device is 5 to 95 percent with no condensation.
