2711P-RDK7C is a PanelView Plus display terminal. This device is designed to control, monitor, and display information using colorful graphs, therefore, enabling the operators to see and work on the status of various applications. This device does not have an enclosure. Due to this, this device only measures seven (7) inches. The keypad is the supported operator input. This component has a high memory capacity of 512 megabytes of nonvolatile memory, as well as 512 megabytes of random access memory (RAM).

Its power input can either be direct or alternating current and the communication ports are ethernet and RS-232 serial. This terminal features 6.5-inch diagonal screen measurements with an actual viewing area of 132 millimeters by 99 millimeters. The display on this PanelView Plus display terminal has a resolution of 640 pixels by 480 pixels.

This operator terminal has no touch-sensitive cells. Therefore, keypad operated terminals may only be used during the installation. The main unit must be powered off for the purpose of disabling the module and disconnecting the board connection of the existing display module. Recommended anti-static & grounding protection should be implemented to help prevent damaging the module since it will not be housed inside an enclosure.

Adjustment of the module’s contrast and brightness is achieved using the operator’s terminals embedded configuration interface. For the purpose of getting extra protection and enhanced visibility, the installation of anti-glare overlays is carried out.
