The Allen Bradley PanelView Plus 700 2711P-K7C4D1 is a human machine interface (HMI) operator terminal that enables users to interact with electronic devices. The operator enters data and control commands through a keypad with 22 function keys and displays device parameters through a 6.5-inch color active-matrix display. It has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels with 18-bit color graphics and an LED backlight with a 50000-hour life. It has a built-in internal memory of 64 MB. Additional storage may be added to the operator in the form of an external flash device with up to 512 MB of removable memory. The operator requires a power supply of 18-32 volts DC and uses an internal battery for Real-Time Clock (RTC) battery back-up with a 4-year minimum lifespan if operated at room temperature (25 °C or 77 °F). The PanelView operator terminal has two LED indicators (green for communication and red for fault) designed for troubleshooting.

It supports Ethernet/ IP that supports real time I/O data exchange and messaging. The operator terminal is compact with physical dimensions of 193 x 290 x 55 mm (7.58 x 11.40 x 2.18 inches) and a display area of 132 x 99 mm, with an approximate weight of 1.9 kg (4.2 lb). It is designed to be installed in enclosures offering protection rating equivalent to NEMA Type 12, 13 and 4X (Indoor).
