The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K10C4A8 is an output terminal module. It is included in the PanelView Plus 1000 series. This terminal features a 10.4-inch color screen with an active matrix, thin-film transistor (TFT) with liquid crystal display (LCD). The display area is 211 x 158 millimeters (8.3 x 6.2 inches), and the screen resolution is 640 pixels by 480 pixels. The screen has a luminance of 300 Nits, and the CCFL backlight has a design life of up to 50,000 hours. The keypad has function, numeric, and navigation keys and is built to withstand more than one million key presses. The operating force for the keypad is 340 grams. The weight of the base unit without optional modules is 2.9 kilograms (6.3 pounds). The operator terminal has dimensions of 248 x 399 x 55 millimeters (9.77 x 15.72 x 2.18 inches) for the base unit without optional modules. The unit has a battery life of 4 years minimum at an operating temperature of 77 degrees Fahrenheit (25 degrees Celsius). The module features a clock that has a battery backup. It has LED indicators that provide communication and fault indications. The terminal has a flash memory capacity of 20 MB for units in the series A to D. Later units have greater memory capacity. The required cutout dimensions for this unit are 224 x 375 millimeters (8.8 x 14.75 inches). The terminal requires a clearance area of 2 inches on the top and bottom and one inch each on the side and back.
