The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B7C4B1 is a low-level control and visualization solution with a serial connection. This terminal consists of modular components; Display Module, Logic Module, and Communication Module, which allows flexible configuration, installation, and upgrades. The base unit contains both display and logic modules. The display module has a color LCD with the technology of TFT (thin-film transistor). The LCD display spans 6.5 inches along diagonal and has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. It also has a hard keypad as well as a touch screen for inputs. The keypad has twenty two function keys (F1 through F10 and  K1 through K12), 20 numeric keys, and four navigation keys. The logic module has 64 MB of RAM and 32 MB of flash memory.  It has a 10/100 Base T Ethernet connector, two USB ports for attaching external devices, as well as a serial RS232 port for logic controllers communications, printing, and file transfers. The terminal also has a card slot for type 1 CompactFlash cards and a real-time clock. A communication module can be added to increase the communication capability to DH+, DH-485, and Remote I/O networks. Operators can install memory expansion modules to upgrade RAM up to 256 MB and CompactFlash up to 512 MB. The 2711P-B7C4B1 has an input voltage range from 85 VAC through 264 VAC, with an line frequency range of 47 Hz to 63 Hz. The terminal has a maximum power consumption of 120 VA and heat transfer of 240 BTU/hr. It comes with an x86, Intel Celeron CPU with a clock speed of 650 MHz.
