The Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 600 is an operator interface terminal whose purpose is to monitor, control, and display information. Its input interface is an analog resistive touchscreen and stainless steel membrane keypads consisting of numeric, navigation, and function keys. The function keys are from F1 to F10. The touch screen size is 5.7in with a monochrome LCD display that is illuminated with a white LED backlight that is irreplaceable and has a life cycle of 25,000 hours. It has a 50 hour standby time. The display area is estimated to be 4.37 × 3.30 inches. The display has a clock that can record the date and time of critical data with an error of ± 2 minutes per month. The clock is battery backed up with a battery life of 4 years at a minimum while subjected to a temperature of 25° Celsius (77° Fahrenheit). The battery can easily be replaced by the user with a CR2032 coin cell Lithium battery. The display resolution is 320 × 240 with a 16 level greyscale. The operator terminal has a RAM of 256MBs and a non-volatile memory of 512MBs. The external conditions suitable for the system to operate effectively include the shock range of 10 g to 110 g and a maximum of 15 g when in operation. The suitable operating temperature range is from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The communication interface consists of a high-speed 2.0 USB hotspot, two Ethernet ports, and an RS-232 connector. The AC input supply needed for operation is 85–264V AC, with an input frequency of 47–63 Hz.
