Allen Bradley's 2711E-K14C6X belongs to the 1400e operator interface terminal family. Its high-performance features give operators a better view and complete control over any industrial manufacturing process. It has a CRT display that spans 14 inches diagonally. This color display has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. It offers the screen saver feature, too. For operator interaction, it comes with 21 user-definable function keys, along with numeric and arrow keys featuring 2,000,000 presses of actuation rate. It comes with a cast aluminum bezel with a coating of black powder. This terminal weighs around 40.1 pounds. For the operation of this terminal, an auto-select alternating current (AC) switching power source with a rated voltage of 90 to 132 and 180 to 264 volts is needed. Whereas the allowed input frequency ranges from 47 hertz to 63 hertz. This terminal typically consumes 180VA of power but can consume a maximum of 240 VA power. This terminal also has a form C contact alarm relay and permanent lithium battery for a time clock with an expectancy of more than 10 years. For user memory, it offers two options: an integrated 256 KB flash and memory card slot. This terminal comes with an embedded remote I/O communication with a selectable baud rate of 57.6K, 115.2K, and 230.4K. Its hardware also incorporates a DH+ communication that allows connectivity with a wide range of PLCs and PanelView terminals. It also has an RS-232 serial port. It comes with hardware-based contrast and brightness controls, as well as horizontal position control.
