This terminal was designed and produced by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This terminal was designed for industrial use. It is intended to reduce the complexity of applications by enabling flexible and secure operator interfaces. Therefore, it comes with a rich color-based display with a resolution of 640 x 480. This display is a CRT display. The display size of this terminal's display measures 10.1 inches. Furthermore, this display is a touch screen display that is comprised of one hundred and twenty (120) touch cells. Additionally, the touch cell size of this unit is two (2) characters high by eight (8) characters wide. This terminal module also includes a backlight and is compatible to process user memory up to 64K utilizing its built-in random-access memory (RAM) capacity. In addition to that, this terminal is also capable of Remote I/O communication. Users can use RIO and RS-232 ports for communication. All of these ports are supported by the hardware of these terminals. This terminal has an input voltage range of 90 to 264 volts AC (alternating current) at an input frequency range of 47 to 63 hertz. Besides that, the input power rating of this unit is ninety (90) to one hundred and thirty (130) volts alternating current (AC). For protection, it is housed within a NEMA 12 enclosure. This PanelView 1200 series operator terminal has a rated heat dissipation of 246 BTU/hr maximum.
