The 2711-T6C10L1 is part of the PanelView Standard 600 series of terminals. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This unit has a 5-inch touchscreen for user input. The active matrix TFT screen has a color display with a resolution of 320 by 240 pixels. The available display area is 115 x 87 millimeters (4.54 x 3.43 inches). The backlight is field replaceable and has a half-life of up to fifty thousand (50,000) hours if operated at 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). The touchscreen offers 128 individual touch cells and is designed to last up to one million (1,000,000) presses. The terminal features a built-in real-time clock that records critical data with time stamps. The clock has a battery backup, as well. The terminal has a non-volatile memory capacity of 240 kilobytes for storing application objects, bitmaps, and text. It also has 170 kilobytes of RAM and 190 kilobytes of application memory during runtime. The terminal supports additional memory in the form of ATA memory cards. Supported communication protocols include DeviceNet, ControlNet, Data Highway Plus, Remote I/O, and Ethernet. The available ports of this device include RS-232, DH-485, and DF1. The terminal is also able to print using the embedded RS-232 port. The terminal uses DC power with supported input voltage rated at 24 volts DC. The DC power consumption rating is 24 watts with the terminal drawing 1 ampere at 24 volts. This unit has an approximate weight of 1.0 kilogram (2.3 pounds) and has dimensions of 152 x 185 x 96 millimeters (6.0 x 7.28 x 3.80 inches).
